Food Point-It File for China aged tofu, please This is aged tofu stewed in chili oil. Once you have acquired the acquired taste, it is quite palatable. Before that time it smells exactly like a human shit produced on the street and that's been left there to age for a day or two. It took me DAYS to figure out that the smell that I was associating with shit was in fact food. This was a great realisation that changed my entire view of China in one moment.
